The Town of Wallkill Golf Club promotes a peaceful and positive atmosphere for everyone who wishes to enjoy our course. In order to ensure your enjoyment and the enjoyment of your fellow golfers, please follow our list of rules and regulations.
Come ready with the right equipment. This includes:
- Proper attire
- Correct footwear (no metal spiked shoes)
- At least five golf clubs, a putter, and a bag
You may not bring the following onto the golf course:
- Outside food or beverages of any kind
- Children under 8 years of age. Children aged 9 and above must be accompanied by an adult
Please respect other golfers’ time by always being attentive to the needs of other groups playing before and after you:
- Keep pace with the group ahead
- Always play ready golf — each member of your party takes their swing as soon as they are able to
Always respect course direction, including instructions from course rangers and course starters:
- If you stop for lunch on the turn, you will lose your place and will resume play at the starter’s discretion
- Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. This includes drunkenness, obnoxious behavior, damage to the course, or failure to follow course direction
- Situations not mentioned above are left to discretion of our course manager
Keep the course looking clean by:
- Minimizing the impact of your cart on the golf course. Respect the 90-degree rule, keeping your cart on the path as much as possible
- Replacing divots
- Raking sand traps
- Repairing ball marks
